Buena Vista, Colorado- Seeded high in the Collegiate Peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Buena Vista attracts outdoor enthusiasts from around the world to experience all the natural wonders that make the small town so great. Every season in Buena Vista has something special about it. In the summer the Arkansas river becomes a mecca for rafters right in town as well as the many other trips that are available by just a short bus ride such as the famous Browns Canyon, The Numbers and Pine Creek Rapids. Buena Vista and the Arkansas Valley have some of the best trout fishing in the state in both the Arkansas River and the many local creeks and high mountain lakes. In the Fall and Winter months hunting is the primary interest for the residents of Buena Vista and anyone else who can draw a tag in area 481 or 47. Elk, deer, coyotes, badgers, pronghorn and big horn sheep are just a few of the game animals which prowl the local San Isabel forest.

Tin Cup (Taylor Park), Colorado- The once great mining town of Tin Cup and the former highest town in the US is now denoted to merely a ghost town. However Tin Cup still brings in thousands of people each summer to enjoy the great outdoors of the surrounding Taylor Park. The Taylor Park reservoir is one of the finest attractions in the area and hosts amazing trout and Pike fishing. The road leading from Taylor Park to Tin Cup has many beautiful marshes that gives home to the moose and trout populations as well as the beavers in which they build there dams. Here many fly fisherman try there luck in catching the skiddish brook trout that swim quietly through the beaver ponds. Dirt bike and 4-wheeler lovers swarm to the miles of dirt paths that move throughout the Park.
