Great Outdoor Colleges

Carrol College- The heart of Helena, Montana is home to Carrol College one of the best colleges in the west and at the junction of river, mountain and outdoor opportunities. If your lucky enough to get admitted into the liberal arts college you will be set. The biggest and most famous river in the area is the great Missouri River. It provides a great deal of recreation like rafting or fishing for the many species of trout. Sourounding the capitol city is the Helena  National Forest. This region is great for hiking, camping or taking advantage of the many wild streams and lakes.

Western State College- Western often attracts many outdoor loving students from around Colorado and the sourrounding states for many reasons. Gunnison is geographically in the southern part of the state and near the Gunnison River and the Black Canyon. It also has great sports and fun for any outdoors enthusiasts.

Fort Lewis College - Down in Southern Colorado sits Fort Lewis College; a wonderfull site for any outdoor lover and a good liberal arts college on top of it. The town of Durango is well known in the west for its nearby mountain bike trails, rivers and hiking. The history of Colorado live through the town in art and muesams that creates a sense of pride for the community. If your a fisherman, hunter, biker or hiker you should really consider Fort Lewis college.
