Great Outdoor Retirement Towns
Cape Coral, Florida - Cape Coral is near the Gulf of Mexico and is known as a mecca for water-lovers. It has a gentle climate and atmoshere which is perfect for the hardworking couple to live out the rest of their days or to hang out for a warm winter. Cape Coral is sourrounded by over 400 miles of canals and near the ocean for great exposure for sailing.

Boise, Idaho - Boise is an excellent place for the elderly to retire despite what most would think. The town actually offers a wide variety of art and music for any artistic lover and certainly adds a touch to the large mountain city. For those that are still alright on their feet, Boise is near many trout rivers that provide a great recreation for a retiree. Surprisingly Boise also has one of the lowest crime rates for big cities in the Country making it a very safe enviorenment.

Albuquerqe, New Mexico - Having relatives retired in Albuquerqe I know first hand how nice of place it can be to retire (especially for the more middle class people). There is fairly high levels of crime in some parts of the city but their are many secluded areas perfect for a  retirement atmosphere. The Sandia Peaks East of town are greating for hiking and getting out of the hear for the retired people. The Colorado River also flows though the middle of town and is great for recreation. last the town has a great climate practically year round.
